George Atkins founded 80 Hertz Studios in 2005, heâs since built a strong client base throughout the UK & amassed an impressive CV as a producer & recording and mastering engineer respectively. Working with major label artsits like Lily Allen, Wiley & The Corteeners to innovative indy signings like Rae Morris, Patterns, Stealing Sheep & Paul Thomas Saunders.
George pulls from an eclectic taste in music, particularly music that pushes the boundaries in sonics, arrangement and innovation. George believes musicians, engineers & producers ideally want to work in rooms full of instruments, with characterful analogue outboard twinned with the connivence of digital gear, where everything is hooked up all the time. Enabling ideas to come to fruition very quickly. This is how inspired records come about.
