About Us
JK Studios is the animation and visual effects portfolio by me, James Kearsley. As a one-man specialist business I produce creative animation (2D & 3D), CGI and visual effects for a wide variety of industries, including television, video games, music videos, medical and marketing.
I started working freelance in 2004 and established my own company in 2011. Since then iâve had the pleasure of working with some great clients on some amazing projects over the years, including CBBC, Codemasters, Virgin, Sega and Garmin, to name a few.
In that time iâve worked as a 2D/3D animator, Modeller, Compositor, game engine VFX artist, Concept Artist, Editor, Web Designer, VFX Supervisor and Art Director phew â each time with the same high emphasis on creativity and quality. I love coming up with ideas outside of the box and flexing my creative muscle when those ideas come to production and are brought to life.
