About Us
Since 1995 I have specialised in animation set building and prop making, as well as art direction and model making for stop frame animation feature films, music promos and commercials.
Now a senior model maker, sculptor and project manager, I am lucky enough to have worked for companies such as Scarycat Studio, Aardman Animations and Bolex Brothers. I spent 2 years on the Aardman Animations feature film 'Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were Rabbitâ' released in 2005, whilst at Cod Steaks.
In 2010 I worked for a short time on Tim Burton's newest production 'Frankenweenie' at 3 Mills Studios. The film is due for release in Autumn 2012.
The latest feature I have worked on is Mariah Mundi and the Midas Box, starring Sam Niel and Michael Sheen, due for release in 2013.
I joined Amalgam Modelmaking Ltd. in 2006. Since then I've been using my contacts and experience to develop the more creative arm of this well established firm, to include interactive museum exhibits & environments, bespoke point of sale items and promotional work for a wide range of clients, from film and TV to scientific research centres, as well as independent artists.
The skills I use today range from sculpting and designing, to quoting and project managing as well as marketing and gaining new business.
I keep my hand in with regular life drawing and sculpting to ensure I get my creative fix. See website for more details.
